Labour Court has allowed the Auditor General Dr Edward Ouko (pictured) to settle the matter of interdicted Audit Manager Raphael Muigai Ikame out of Court.
Mr Ikame was reinstated as auditor manager in charge of Nyeri and Kirinyaga counties after investigations into the bribery allegations cleared him of any wrongdoing.
Mr Ikame said he received an interdiction letter dated March 29, 2018, for allegedly soliciting money amounting to Sh20 million to alter an audit report for Kirinyaga county government for the financial year 2016/17.
The letter further claimed he demanded the bribe from county government officials to manipulate the audit findings at a meeting in a hotel on Thika-Gatanga road.
