Indeed, it is difficult to comprehend and no manner of excuse(s) can justify the continued stay of Ms Tracy Barnes in Kenya, Kenya’s bilateral relations with the UK notwithstanding. In the spirit of fairness, however, and within the provisions of Article 50 of the Constitution, we DEMAND as follows;
(a) THAT Ms Tracy Barnes and all other expatriates at the EABL be summoned to your office, no later than 72 hours (and at which meeting we wish to be observers) to establish the validity and the merit of the said work permit(s).
(b) THAT your Department show cause, within 7 days with effect from the date hereof, why legal action should not be take against the entire Department and specifically your officers who approved the said work permits.
(c) THAT within 14 days, you provide firm grounds that such wrongs of commission and or omission in the issuance of work permits and passports (both ordinary and diplomatic) will not be entertained and should the same be breached- individual approving officers shall take full personal responsibility for the same.
