Dear COFEK: I am writing to you to also be slotted as part of the class action suit against PRC.

My wife Ruth bought a parcel of land in Isinya and its now been 6 months and there's no deed yet nor greenhouse structure that has been erected on the property.

I was at PRC on 22nd August 2017 asking about the deed and remittance of 1st half year 250K as agreed upon in the terms and conditions. The contact I got at PRC said that EACC did an audit at the ministry of lands and picked the entire batch of applications from lands to audit and later returned them.

So if they batch was given an all clear why did they return the batch to PRC lawyers and not Lands Ministry for the process to continue. Now the PRC team says a fresh application for the transfer needs to be done and in about 5-6 months get a title.

We are ready to to give more details as and when required.

Below is an email thread between PRC and ourselves

Good afternoon Ruth/Ray

I trust that this mail finds you well.

Following the meeting we had today in regards to your agribusiness investment with us, we are happy to let you know that we have made tremendous progress as we are currently harvesting and transplanting on 150 plots whose payments were cleared last year.

In your case, we are currently mobilizing materials and intend to conclude the construction by October and thereafter, we shall begin the transplanting process. This is a priority for us to meet market demand for our produce.

As for the title deed, your transfer is already at the legal office awaiting submission to land registry and we expect this to take shortest time possible. We will however update you of any developments thereof

Thank you for doing business with PRC. Kindly do not hesitate to contact the customer service team in case of further queries and clarifications.

Kind regards,

Isaac Osoo | Property Reality Company |Customer Service Department

Morning Issac,

I have just received your email and I must say I am still not satisfied with the responses, they seem ambiguous to say the least. A few things we had discussed yesterday which I'm not seeing in your mail are as below

  1. Timelines from your legal team as to when the application of the transfer will be lodged to the time of receiving the deed is not indicated.
  2. PRC commitment to provide remittance of proceeds from the agri-business on a yearly basis otherwise PRC shall be in breach of these terms which I shall remind you were actually drafted by yourselves.

I look forward to hearing from you. Regards,

So as you can very well see this team is non-committal and evasive with their answers. Lets get the truth out of them, get our refunds and save Kenyans from this type of scam

Kind Regards,
